Respecting the voices of the elderly requires that we listen to them, although the message may be delivered through humor. One elderly individual has devised a novel way to disseminate her message using cartoons. She is a comic artist who creates a cartoon series every day,_ilI featuring her experiences and the experiences of people around her. She wants to make the elderly laugh and be proud to be growing older.
Prior to becoming a cartoonist, she had experience working in the field of healthcare. She got to work with people of all ages. However, she found a connection with patients above the age of 65 years. Through her experience, she realized that people above 65 years were being overlooked despite the wisdom they had to impart to the younger ones.
She realized she wanted to work on this side of aging and treat senior citizens with respect in her comics. She also decided to add a touch of humor in her work and bring happiness into the life of senior citizens. Now, let’s enjoy her work 😊
